Liability Waiver

I, the undersigned participant (or parent/legal guardian if participant is under 18), understand and agree to the following terms as a condition of my participation in the “WALK FOR WILDLIFE” to support Red Creek Wildlife Center, Inc. on August 17, 2025, at Island Park, Schuylkill Haven, PA:

Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participation in the “WALK FOR WILDLIFE” involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, weather conditions, traffic hazards, and uneven terrain. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and understand that I am responsible for my own safety.

Release and Waiver of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the “WALK FOR WILDLIFE”, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Red Creek Wildlife Center, Inc., the Schuylkill Haven Recreation Department, the Borough of Schuylkill Haven, their officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, and any other affiliated entities (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to my participation in this event, including injury, illness, property damage, or death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Medical Treatment Authorization

I grant permission to the event organizers to authorize emergency medical treatment if necessary during my participation in the “WALK FOR WILDLIFE”. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

Photo & Media Release

I grant permission for Red Creek Wildlife Center, Inc. and event organizers to use photographs, videos, or other media recordings of me taken during the “WALK FOR WILDLIFE” for promotional, fundraising, and educational purposes without compensation.

Code of Conduct

I agree to conduct myself in a safe and respectful manner during the event and to follow all rules, instructions, and safety guidelines provided by event organizers and local authorities.

Parental Consent (for Participants Under 18)

If signing on behalf of a minor, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant and agree to all terms outlined in this waiver on their behalf.

I understand that by agreeing to this waiver, I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue.
