Painting With Peggy
August 22 - August 23
$65.00
Discover your creative side while supporting Red Creek Wildlife Center.
“Painting with Peggy” grew out of a simple idea. Peggy has always loved to paint, and like everything at Red Creek, she also loves to teach. After watching countless Bob Ross programs over the years, she wondered if she could guide a group through a painting in just a few hours. A private trial class with our staff and volunteers was a huge success, and everyone asked for more.
To make this fundraiser meaningful and true to our mission, each session features a simple wildlife-themed painting inspired by one of Red Creek’s education ambassadors.
This class features HanniBell, our Turkey Vulture ambassador.
Participants will create a beautiful painting featuring a turkey vulture while learning about one of Pennsylvania’s most misunderstood birds. You’ll discover why vultures are among nature’s most important recyclers, how they help keep our environment healthy, and why they deserve far more appreciation than they receive.
Of course, the highlight of the afternoon will be meeting HanniBell herself. Watching a turkey vulture up close is an experience few people ever have, and it just might change the way you think about these remarkable birds.
This is more than a painting class. It is an afternoon of creativity, learning, laughter, and supporting the wildlife rehabilitation work of Red Creek Wildlife Center.
