Education Building – Open Saturdays and Sundays: 11am – 3pm

The training/nature center is open each Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It features educational displays and a few non-releasable animals.

There is a short walking trail around the pond where a  few of our non-releasable animals are on display.  The trail is only open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please stop in the Education Building before walking the trail. It may be closed anytime due to weather, animals present, or disease risks.

Public Events and Programs

We occasionally have programs and events open to the public. They may be on or off-site, and feature a variety of our non-releasable ambassador animals. Check out our calendar of events for date, time, location, and registration information!

We also provide private in-person programs on and off-site, virtual programs, and space for your events in our Education Building Classroom space. More information on private programs can be found here.

Clinic Building

The clinic building is not open for visitation.  It is against regulations for rehabilitation animals to be on display or visited by the public.

Our intention is to keep wild animals “wild!” The fewer people the animals see, the better. Overexposure to people can lessen a wild animal’s ultimate survival. For that reason, we DO NOT allow visitation of the rehab animals, even if it’s the animal you rescued.
