Please note: If you call and get our answering machine,
LEAVE A MESSAGE!

Please don’t assume that we aren’t available. We may be tending to an animal.
We also check the phone regularly after hours.

If you cannot get in touch with a staff member (ie., it is 2am), you can refer to this virtual interactive flowchart for help deciding how to proceed.

If you are unsure about an animal’s need for help or how to handle it, CALL US FIRST.
We have an after-hours drop-off room in the front of the clinic building.
If you must come after hours, leave the animal in this area and follow the directions inside the building.
There is a motion-activated camera inside that will alert staff to the animal’s presence.
We check these alerts regularly.

Capture and Transport Note:

We do not have the number of staff or the funding necessary to pick up animals. We rely on YOU to find transportation for the animal to get to us. We will arrange for veterinary care, food, and any other necessary care and treatment for the animal, at no cost to you. All we ask is that you get it to us. If you are experiencing difficulty with this, we may be able to provide suggestions. Our emergency line is (570) 739-4393 extension 1.
