The level 2 internship program is a minimum wage paid position. It does not include travel or accommodations.
Students who have completed a level 1 internship can apply for a level 2 internship within two years. Space is limited to two applicants.
Level 2 interns are expected to complete the full twelve weeks consecutively.
Level 2 interns must commit to four (4) days per week including six to eight hour shifts per day for twelve (12) consecutive weeks according to the published schedule:

Gain experience working independently and supervising Level 1 interns and volunteers in a wildlife rehabilitation clinic.
Level 2 Interns will be responsible for:
Baby animal feeding as scheduled by staff, and supervise volunteers in baby animals care
Administer evening medications
Admitting new patient intakes
Contacting staff-on-call for new patients and emergency care
Clean dishes, organizing rooms and removing garbage at end of shift
Following closing procedures at end of shift
