Spring 2018 Wildlife Capture and Training Seminar Schedule

The Pennsylvania Game Commission and the US Fish & Wildlife Service require that persons who routinely respond to injured and distressed wildlife calls hold permits with these governing authorities. This course meets the educational and testing requirements for receiving this permit in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

“This entertaining and enlightening course covers the basics of wildlife capture in the field including legal issues, safety, equipment, recognizing true emergencies, proper capture and handling techniques, public relations and education.”

This course is pre-requisite for anyone interested in being called out to capture wildlife by a wildlife center, answering service, or dispatcher.
